Harwich Water Department Announces Hydrant Flushing Areas

HARWICH-  The Harwich Water Department has announced fire hydrant flushing zones for North Harwich, Pleasant Lake, and East Harwich.

Flushing’s will take place between the hours of 7 p.m. and 12 a.m. running May 14^th through June 29^th and signs will be posted to warn residents of exactly where the projects will take place.

Officials are recommending that residents set aside clean water for drinking and cooking purposes in the occasion of discoloration.
