Home Builders & Remodelers Association Holding ‘Building Blocks’ Informational Series

CENTERVILLE – The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod will hold an 8-week informational series called “Building Blocks,” to help homeowners navigate their building, remodeling and design projects from start to finish.

The program is designed to help prepare homeowners to make good and timely decisions, assist in the smooth execution of their projects, and to help them avoid costly mistakes by preparing them for the many aspects of the construction process, from beginning to end.

“The first ‘Building Blocks’ program was a huge success and I’m so glad we’re repeating it,” said Amy Britton, owner of Artisan Kitchens in Osterville.

“Everyone who attended told us they came away with valuable knowledge to help prepare them for their upcoming projects, we had attendees interested in everything from bathrooms, kitchens, small remodels, to new home construction. It’s the only program I’m aware of where you can find this kind of expertise all collected into one curriculum and geared strictly towards the homeowner.”

This year’s Building Blocks series will be held from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. every Wednesday until November 13th at the Yarmouth Police Department Training Center-Conference Room.

“Basically each expert kind of talks about ways that you can save time and money because we all know that time usually equates to money so it’s good to know upfront things that you can do to save on time which usually means saving money,” said Chris Flanagan, Executive Officer of The Home builders & Remodelers Association.

“This is really an opportunity for our experts to get in front of the public just to say these are small things you can do that will make a big difference, these are things you should be thinking about ahead of time if you think you want to do a remodel.”

The cost is $10 per session and anyone interested can sign up for just one, or all eight sessions.
