The event also raised money for CCYP’s mission of connecting and progressing Cape Cod’s young workforce for years to come. CEO of CCYP Lauren Barker says she’s lucky to work with a collection of people who share that sentiment.
“It’s a great group, amazingly dedicated and passionate group of people who are all committed to creating a better community for young people to thrive and succeed here,” Barker said.
Nearly 30 local businesses and nonprofits across the Cape exhibited themselves to attendees, while CCYP conducted interviews for their “My Cape Cod Story” project, which details the stories of those who have found professional success in the area.
“We hear all the time about how people make connections that get them that next job step that they’re looking to take, or help them promote their business that they’ve just launched,” Barker continued. “Lots of great connections being made.”
