HYANNIS – The Falmouth Road Race is just over 100 days away and Independence House is looking for runner to round out its team.
Independence House has 12 numbers-for-nonprofits where runners raise money for the Organization.
Independence House is the largest private nonprofit on Cape Cod working with individuals and families confronting domestic and sexual violence.
The organization serves more than 5,000 people each year out of four offices in Hyannis, Falmouth, Harwich and Provincetown. Services include a 24/7 hotline, assistance with the courts, counseling, secure housing and help meeting other challenges.
Runners must commit to pay $100 towards the $175 cost for the race number, along with raising at least $1,000 for Independence House.
Runners will also receive a TEAM t-shirt.
