Health Experts Concerned about Measles, Urge Vaccination

HARWICH –  Local health experts are urging the public to consider measles vaccines if they are not up to date.

Outer Cape Health Services Pediatric Program Director Gretchen Eckle said they are monitoring outbreaks in other parts of the country, especially as the travel season draws closer.

No cases have been reported locally, but measles can lead to serious complications for children and at-risk adults.
