NANTUCKET – The Nantucket Historical Association will be in New York this coming January to appear in the 2019 Winter Show – the leading art, antiques, and design fair in the United States.

The NHA has been selected to present the “loan exhibition” at the show, where they will present programs and hold activities relative to the historical and cultural heritage of Nantucket.

A Steering Committee has been formed by the Association to properly coordinate with show organizers.

“Trustees are grateful to be selected to participate in this unique opportunity which will introduce the NHA’s superlative collection to a national audience,” Event Chair and President of the Board Kelly Williams.

“This is an excellent opportunity for the NHA to present this island’s inspiring stories and showcase the depths of its collections.”

The Winter Show and Nantucket share a strong connection as it is co-chaired by Lucinda Ballard and Chairman Emeritus Ane Kopelman, both island residents.

The show will take place at the Park Avenue Armory from January 18 through January 27.
