‘Paddle for the Bays: RACE Cape Cod’ Set For September

OSTERVILLE – Paddle boarders should start working on those balancing skills as the Barnstable Clean Water Coalition, in partnership with Stand Up and Paddle Cape Cod, are gearing up for their 8th annual ‘Paddle for the Bays: RACE’.

Taking place September 15th at the Oyster Harbors Beach Club, the adult Course will feature a 5 mile SUP or kayak loop, or a 10 mile SUP loop. For participating youth, the course will include an approximately 1/4 – ½-mile SUP, or kayak round.

Also during this year’s event, participants will be able to enjoy a silent auction, beach party with live music, food and drink.

All proceeds raised during this event will go to benefit Barnstable Clean Water Coalition with their mission to restore, and preserve, clean water in the Town of Barnstable.

As an added safety note, all racers are required to wear a personal flotation device during the race.
