Recreation Director Guy Boucher will present plans at the committee meeting which now include constructing pickleball and tennis courts alongside the new skatepark to be built on Quaker Meetinghouse Road on the campus of the joint public safety building.

The park will also include walking trails, a gazebo and a barbecue area.

The parks designer, Stantec, will also be designing the pickleball and tennis courts.

Boucher is requesting more than $1.1 million for the skatepark with the addition of more than $350,000 for the pickleball and tennis courts.
