Second Annual Steamroller Printmaking Extravaganza

TRURO – The Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill will be hosting the second annual Steamroller Printmaking Extravaganza at Edgewood Farm on Saturday September 16 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The event is free and open to the public.

The unique event uses an actual steamroller, yes the kind you see doing road work, to work as a press would when making a print.

Participants ink up their block, position their paper and get thesteamroller ready! After the steamroller glides over the block, participants will unveil a truly unique print.

For those experienced printmakers, this is a great opportunity to print those large-scale blocks you have been waiting for just the right time to print.

And for those who are new to printmaking, come see this exciting event and experience carving and printing your own creation.

There will be vegetable carving for printmaking, for the younger audience.

All ages and experience levels are welcome for this community event.
