EASTHAM – The Wellfleet Shellfish Promotion and Tasting, Inc., will be holding their 7th annual SummerFair next week.
The arts and crafts fair will be held on Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 23, on Eastham’s Windmill Green from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will feature 60 local and regional artisans.
SummerFair will showcase a wide variety of artistic creations such as illustrations, paintings, jewelry, ceramics, clothing, glass works and more.
Food will also be available during the fair from Wellfleet Oyster Raw Bar, The Sausage King and the Local Scoop.
There will also be a booth where attendees can learn about the nonprofit Wellfleet Shellfishing Promotion and Tasting, Inc., which produces the annual Wellfleet Oysterfest.
Wellfleet SPAT’s mission is to preserve Wellfleet’s shellfishing and aquaculture industries and proceeds from their events also support a college scholarship program and community grant awards.
The organization has awarded more than $340,000 to the scholarship program and community grants.
SummerFair will be held rain or shine and is free and open to the public.
