Write in Candidates Seek School Committee Seat

BOURNE – Two write in candidates are seeking the Bourne Representative seat on the Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School Committee, one current member, Julie Wing, will complete her service and leave the Board this year.

David Sampson, former Superintendent of Upper cape Cod Regional Technical School is running for the seat, he has been active in the community with positions in Rotary, The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce, the Kelley Foundation, Cape Abilities, Falmouth Hospital, Cape Cod Healthcare, Otis Civilian Advisory Council, and other organizations.

The other candidate is Greg Wirsen, he is an executive vice president with Green Seal Environmental in Sagamore. He has three children, none of them attended the technical high school.

Voters must write in the names of the candidate of their choice under Bourne Representative in the Regional School Committee on the Ballot on November 6^th.
