YARMOUTH – Plans for a Riverwalk concept at the site of the former West Yarmouth Drive-in will be discussed tonight.

Engineering firm BETA will produce a feasibility study and preliminary design later this year.

The Department of Community Development is holding a public forum in the Yarmouth Town Hall Hearing room to get public comment beginning at 6 p.m.

Around $84,000 for the design and study was approved at Annual Town Meeting last year.

The proposed project would have recreational facilities along Parkers River, with a possible boardwalk that would link the area to Seagull Beach across a marsh.

As part of the process, the town will conduct surveys and have open meetings with residents for outreach.
