Christmas Wishes 2022 – Family 093

We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Now we’re asking you and your family (friends, colleagues, etc) to considering sponsoring this family.

If you would like to sponsor this family, please read the description below and fill out the form.

I can't say enough good things about this family. Mom works full time and a part-time job on the weekend to support the kids. They are being treated for the loss of the family unit as the dad has struggled with substance use issues, leading to divorce. The dad hasn't provided any financial support for over a year now. The boys work odd jobs to help financially, but they have gone without for many months. The boys and an 11-year-old little sister love the outdoors, sports of all kinds and helping with household jobs and to decorate their house for the holidays. All of the boys have common interests. Child #1, female age 11: loves arts & crafts, hair chalk and/or age-appropriate beauty items, (nail polish, hair accessories) baking with mom and crystals or other cool items for her bedroom. She is hard to fit so a gift card to Old Navy or the Gap would be great. Child #2, male age 13: a wireless speaker. Any interactive games like an electronic dart board, or LED Frisbee. A gift card for clothes to any store or a sports themed sweatshirt, size men's medium. Child # 3, male age 14: any age-appropriate electronic gadget, charging station/stand for electronics, any LED sports games the boys can play together. He would benefit from a gift card for clothing at any store and would also like a new hooded sweatshirt, size men's large. Child #4, male age 17: He would love a drone he can attach his phone to, a backpack that has a slot for his laptop (heading to college next year), any gift card for clothing, gas or food. Adult #1, mom age 40 something: mom is artistic and would love a gift card for art supplies or to Michael's. She never purchases anything for herself so a gift card to Macy's, the Gap or Visa would be great. She is always in need of support in the way of gas cards and grocery stores. Cumberland Farms or Dunkin would be helpful.
