This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Family of 5 experiencing financial hardships in need of support this holiday season. This family recently began caring for their grandmother and her medical needs, resulting in further strain on finances this year. Client recently began a part time job after school in attempts to contribute to household needs and save for the future, as she hopes to be a first-generation college student. Any support this holiday season would be appreciated by all. Child 1: A 16 year old girl who enjoys ceramics and pttery. She would enjoy an Amazon or Rue 21 gift card. Could benefit from a new sweatshirt (size XL) and prefers neutral colors. Child 2: A 15 year old male who is a big Celtics fan and enjoys reading anime. He would appreciate an Amazon or Barnes and Noble giftcard to purchase books in his aniime series. He would also benefit from a new sweatshirt (size XL). Parent/guardian 1: dad is the cook for the family and would benefit from new pots and pans. Dad would appreciate a gift card to Work n Gear to get clothing for his new job. Parent/guardian 2: Mom would appreciate a Marshalls gift card and some new landscaping gloves for her job.Grandmother: Would benefit from a visa giftcard as he would enjoy being able to shop for new clothes.
