We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Family of five, struggling to overcome a series of personal setbacks and working with their hands each day to support their children are hoping for help to give the children a few of the things that the parents are unable to afford to get for them. Child 1: 13 year old boy. Loves building things with his hands, e.g. legos or drawing. He has an Xbox and loves history and miltary things. Favorite color is blue. Mens XXL on shirts and pants. Shoes: 10. Child 2: 11 year old boy. Favorite color red. Size 14 boys shirts and pants. Loves cars, motors, bikes- using and working on them. He has an XBox. Loves animals. Shoes: 4. Child 3: 6 year old boy. Loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Legos. Loves Optimus Prime, learning, music, and dancing. Boys size 7 pants and shirts. Shoes: 1. Parent/ guardian 1: Mother needs some clothing, female tops 1X or XL. She uses crafts as a anxiety reducing technique and loves to work with Cricut machine and enjoys painting. WShe also enjoys tools and light carpentry. Parent/guardian 2: Father- needs a warm shirt, Men's 2XL. Works with heavy carpentry. Could use tools for work or a gift card to Home Depot. Loves history and military-themed items.
