We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. This young female has been working hard to manage her anxiety and depression while working two jobs to help support her family. She is the primary caretaker in her home as she cares for both her ailing father who is unable to work and her older brother who struggles with mental health issues. Christmas is an important holiday for this family and this young woman always strives to make the day special for her father and brother. Any help she could receive in making this happen would be appreciated. Adult Child #1: A 22-year-old female who would like a set of silverware, a kitchen knife set, and a Stop & Shop gift card for the family and would love a spa gift set for herself. Adult Child #2: A 24-year-old male who would like a gift card to Best Buy or Game Stop. Parent/guardian #1: A 55-year-old male who could use a new sheet set for a Full-size bed (any color) and a gift card to Amazon for new clothes.
