We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Mother of this family reports that following a car accident this year, her family has been struggling financially to make ends meet. Mother is disabled and cannot work at this time. Mother advocates that she is overwhelmed about the holidays this year. Mother reports that she needs support in supplying basic needs this holiday season, and is so grateful for any support she receives. Child #1: Nonbinary youth, 10, is in need of sweatshirts and long sleeved shirts for the winter season, in size juniors girl's medium. Child is further in need of a winter coat. This child prefers neutral colors. This child enjoys anime and writing, and would benefit from an Amazon or Barnes & Noble gift card. Child #2: Nonbinary youth, 14, is in need of sweatshirts and long sleeved shirts for the winter season, in juniors girl's large. This child prefers neutral colors. This teenager is an avid reader and would benefit from a Barnes & Noble or Amazon gift card. Parent/guardian #1: Female, 37, reports that she would benefit from a Stop and Shop gift card to support basic needs this holiday season. Mother reports that she could also use a Chewy gift card to support their two elderly cats' needs.
