We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. A mother is looking for help this holiday season in supplying basic needs for her family following a year of changes, loss and grief. She works two jobs to provide for her family and is still having difficulty making ends meet. Mother reports she is due to have a baby boy in February of 2024. She advocates she is so grateful for the ways providers and her community have supported her family during such a challenging time. Child #1: Baby boy is due in 2/2024 - Mother reports she would be grateful for any basic necessities provided for her baby boy who is due in 2/2024. Child #2: Male, 11, could use sweatpants (L juniors), long sleeved shirts (L juniors), socks, boxers, and shoes and boots (boys size 8.5), and gloves and a winter hat for this upcoming winter season. This boy also enjoys basketball and gaming on his Playstation. Child #3: Female, 13, could use a winter jacket (S juniors) and boots (size 7.5) for this upcoming winter season. This teenager enjoys neutral colored clothing. This teenager would further enjoy a gift card for the mall or Target to shop for some of her own clothing for the cold weather. Parent/guardian #1: Female, 30, reports that she could use a Walmart, Target, or Marshalls gift card to provide some basic necessities for her family this winter season.
