We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. This man is in his 60s, who with his partner are raising 2 teenage family members. He has experienced previous trauma leading to mental health struggles. He is being treated for anxiety and working to improve family communication. They are a close knit family who enjoy cooking and spending time together. Their pets include dogs and cats, so some new pet toys or pet treats would be a great treat! Child #1: 20 year old female, wishes for an Ulta gift card. Child #2: 15 year old boy wishes for an Amazon gift card to buy some new clothes. Parent/guardian #2: “Mom” would love an Ulta gift card and Parent/guardian #1: “Dad” needs new sneakers (men’s size 8.5). The family could also use gift cards to Aldi for food.
