About MassHire

MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center provides job search preparation and job search assistance for youth (16-24) and adults seeking employment. It also assists employers in their efforts to fill job vacancies.

The professional staff at the Career Center facilitates workshops on resume writing, interviewing, the importance of social media in your job search, and more.  Their Resource Room provides all the resources you need to conduct a job search, and is open to anyone who wishes to work on their own to find a job.

In addition, those eligible for individualized services can meet with a professional career consultant for one-on-one career counseling, obtain FREE skills training, and/or participate in their Hire Me Boot Camp which includes resume critique and rewrite. Candidates can also prepare for interviews by participating in a mock interview and reviewing other interview skills.

There is no charge for these services because they are underwritten by our tax dollars.  All you need to access many of these services is a FREE membership to the Career Center, which you can get online at www.masshire-cicc.com or by visiting MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center at 372 North Street, Hyannis.

The Career Center also has a Business Services division that dedicates its efforts to helping job seeker members find jobs and employer members find qualified job candidates. The Career Center offers free use of its rooms to employers who wish to hold job recruitments on-site at the Center. Here they can meet with walk-in job seekers interested in an employer’s available positions. Our Business Services Team can also conduct Specialized Recruitments in which we do the recruiting for the employer.  On the day of the Recruitment, the employer only meets with candidates that have already been vetted by the Business Services Team. This assures the employer that they are meeting with qualified candidates who are interested in the respective positions.

MassHire Cape and Islands Career Center welcomes the opportunity to partner with CapeCod.com in an effort to expand our reach to job seekers and employers who could benefit from the services we provide.
