Salsa Dance Nights come to Cape Cod

Husband and Wife team Doug and Kimberlee of Ballroom Bliss are very excited to bring Salsa Nights to Cape Cod. You can learn salsa in group dance sessions at The Cape Cod Cultural Center in Yarmouth and Billygoats BBQ in West Dennis.

Doug McHugh says, “Salsa music is fun, and it makes you want to dance to it. It just makes you feel good.” The classes are high energy and vibrant. A wide range of ages attend the classes. Some couples even use it as a date night and combine dancing with dinner.

Dancing can be a great social activity and great exercise. It’s good for the joints and can help with arthritis. Doug does stress that you should check with your doctor before starting any new exercise routine.

Doug and Kimberlee have been teaching various types of ballroom on Cape Cod since moving here in 2003. If ballroom isn’t your thing, they’ll be doing West Coast Swing in May and Tango in June.

Think you have two left feet? Think again! “Anyone can learn how to dance. I say if you have the desire then I can teach anyone to dance,” Doug McHugh Ballroom Bliss
