WOODS HOLE – Former president of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) Susan Avery was elected this week to Exxon Mobil Corp.’s board of directors, according to a report from the Huffington Post.
Avery, a longtime atmospheric scientist who focused on atmospheric variability will be Exxon’s 13th director on the board.
Her first day in the new position will be February 1st.
