Nighttime Nature Walks to Explore the National Seashore

KA_Moon Rise_Full Moon_032216_001EASTHAM – A guided tour of the National Seashore will bring participants through woodland trails, bike paths and on the beach, all under the June “strawberry” moon.

The walk on June 18th will be led by 12th generation Cape Codder Todd Kelley and Nipmuc/Wampanoag Marcus Hendricks, as they explain how Native Cape Codders and Pilgrims lived and their relationship to the plants and animals active at night.

The walk is considered “moderate,” and is sponsored by the Harwich Conservation Trust.

Registrations can be made at hct.org.
