Registration for Wellfleet Summer Camps Now Available

WELLFLEET – Registration is now open for Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary’s Summer Camps in Wellfleet and Chatham.

The staff is looking forward to sunshine, summertime, and days filled with adventure in the great outdoors.

Campers have fun and explore nature at the 937-acre wildlife sanctuary in Wellfleet and Chatham. Themed weekly sessions have campers exploring trails, discovering tidal flats, experimenting with science, and venturing to natural spaces around Cape Cod.

New field trips are in store this year aboard the “Floating Classroom” on Little Pleasant Bay in South Orleans. During the weeks of July 7 and August 5, campers in grades 3–5 will learn about seals while campers in grades 6-8 will learn about sharks.

Expanded program offerings in partnership with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy are also offered. From July 15 through July 19, campers in grades 1-2 will be able to participate in the ‘Shark Enthusiasts’ program. Campers in grades 6-8 can participate from July 22 through July 26.
