Storm Expected to Cause Ferry Disruptions

HYANNIS – The storm which will bring rain and strong winds to the Cape and Islands beginning Sunday is expected to cause ferry service disruptions.

The National Weather Service has issued a Gale Warning from 5 p.m. Sunday through 1 p.m. Monday with gusts exceeding 30 mph and seas of up to eight feet.

Steamship Authority officials say cancelations are possible through Monday morning on both the Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket routes.
